KATHMANDU: Nepali Rhinos, led by Nepal national team skipper Paras Khadka, faced a 17-run defeat against Punjab Lions in the Dallas Premier League at Sandy Lake in Texas, United States of America on Sunday. Chasing a target of 179 runs, Nepali Rhinos were restricted to 161-8 in their allotted 20 overs despite getting half centuries from Khadka and Subash Khakurel. Khadka scored a quick fire 61 off 39 balls that included five fours and two sixes, while Khakurel struck four boundaries and a six in his 51-ball 55. Sharad Vesawkar (12) also reached double figures. Earlier, opting to bat first, Punjab Lions scored 178-5. Shawn Findlay hit 41-ball 62 and Kashyap Naik contributed 44 off 33. Basant Regmi picked up three and skipper Khadka took two wickets for Nepali Rhinos. READ ALSO:
