Late NC supreme leader Singh's statue honoured

KATHMANDU: People from various walks of life, and the leaders and supporters of the Nepali Congress (NC) remembered late NC supreme leader and commander of the democratic movement of 1990, by organising a programme in the Capital to mark his 102nd birth anniversary. In the programme organised by Ganeshman Singh Memorial Foundation, the participants garlanded the statue of Singh. NC leader and son of Singh, Prakash Man Singh said sacrifice and principles of the late Singh helped to promulgate the constitution, and all political parties should unite to implement it. He also viewed that the NC should take a leading role in implementing the constitution. The event was also attended by Minister for Industry Nabindra Raj Joshi, lawmakers Rajendra Kumar KC, Dhyan Gobinda Ranjit, Chandra Maharjan, Dipak Kuinkel and NC Kathmandu district president Sabuj Baniya among others.
