Groceries found to be selling date-expired goods in Lalitpur

LALITPUR: A market monitoring team of the District Administration Office found date-expired goods and goods without label being sold at numerous groceries in Karyabinayak Municipality of Lalitpur district today. Bishnu Prasad Subedi, a market monitoring officer at the Lalitpur DAO, said the team destroyed stale and foul smelling milk from S Mini Store. According to him, chilli powder, turmeric powder, and spices were not labelled. The team also destroyed the putrid bread from Gupta Store of Karyabinayak-3.
