Wee-hour aftershock damages Kaski house

KATHMANDU: The wee-hour aftershock of Gorkha earthquake on Monday damaged a house in Lekhanath Municipality in Kaski district. The aftershock has damaged the house of Rudra Mohan Bhattrai of Jaldhare in Ward 4 of the Municipality, informed Police Inspector Madan Jeet Mahara of Dandako Naak Police Post. Bhattrai's house, which was cracked by the last year's earthquake, was further damaged by the aftershock, Mahara added. An aftershock of local magnitude 5.6 was recorded at around 5:20 am today, with its epicentre in Solukhumbu, near the border of Ramechhap district.
