KATHMANDU: The Local Bodies Restructuring Commission (LBRC), formed to determine the number and boundaries of village units, municipalities and specially protected or autonomous zones, is likely to submit its report to the government on Wednesday. The report is learned to have proposed fewer local units than its earlier plan acting on the proposals sent by the Local Level Restructuring Technical Committees in the districts. The Commission Member-Secretary Hari Paudel said there was the possibility of the creation of 72o - 73o local units at the local level. Earlier, the Commission had planned for creating 744 local units.
