7 injured as jeep flips after hitting cliff in Bhojpur

BHOJPUR: At least seven persons were injured when a jeep they were aboard flipped on the road in Jarayotar VDC of Bhojpur district, on Wednesday morning. The Bolero vehicle (Ba 5 Cha 7952) heading towards Biratnagar from Helauchha in the district overturned after hitting a cliff by the roadside injuring seven passengers at around 11:30 am today, according to police. There were as many as nine passengers aboard the four-wheeler, added police. The Jarayotar-based police post has identified the injured as Kumar Gurung (32) and Man Kumari Gurung (40) of Helauchha VDC-4; Sonam Gurung of Helauchha VDC-2; Bal Bahadur Tamang (40) and Kul Bahadur Tamang (49) of Tiwari Bhanjyang VDC-9; Anil Magar (19) of Dharapani-6 in Dhanusha district;  and Kumar Magar (29) of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-8 of Sunsari district. A local health institution treated the injured before they were referred to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, the police post informed.
