KATHMANDU: Police on Thursday arrested a person with around 15 kg undeclared gold from Pingalasthan, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9 in Kathmandu. Police have arrested Gopal Bahadur Shahi, who recently returned to Kathmandu from a foreign nation, according to SP Mira Chaudhary of the  Central Investigation Bureau (CIB). Chaudhary told THT Online that the exact amount of the haul would be ascertained after a while as police were currently weighing it. A team of police deployed from the CIB arrested Shahi who had come out of the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu at around 2 pm today. Details are awaited.
