President enquires top leaders about political stalemate

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Thursday held a meeting with top leaders of five biggest parties in the Parliament to discuss contemporary issues including the ongoing political stalemate. The Head of the State had invited Prime Minister and CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Kamal Thapa and Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Democratic Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachhadhar for a meeting late this afternoon. The meeting was held at the Sheetal Niwas, according to a press statement issued by the President's Office today itself.
