KATHMANDU: The hearing on the case filed against suspended Chief of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lok Man Singh Karki, at the Supreme Court has continued today as well. In the full bench of Justices Ishwori Prasad Khatiwada, Anand Mohan Bhattarai and Anil Kumar Singha, various legal practitioners pleaded for Karki on Thursday. Those advocating for Karki were advocates Sushil Pant, Baburam Dahal, Mahadev Yadav, Kumar Regmi and Surendra Mahato. They argued that Karki was qualified, had moral integrity and got the appointment as per the Constitution. The next hearing would begin at 11:00 am Friday. In the beginning, the legal practitioners against Karki had argued that he had no qualification required for the post of CIAA Chief.
