KATHMANDU: A person died after being hit by a passenger bus in Birendranagar Municipality, the Surkhet district headquarters, on Friday evening. The deceased has been identified as Ram Bahadur Chaudhary (31) of Latikoili in Birendranagar Municipality-17. Chaudhary was hit by the bus (Na 2 Kha 3214) in front of Purano Buspark at around 6:30 pm yesterday. Meanwhile, the District Police Office has launched a manhunt for the bus driver who fled the scene immediately after the incident.
