The price of gold increased by Rs 2,200 per tola in the domestic market on Friday, rebounding from the previous day's decline.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, gold is trading at Rs 296,900 per tola on Friday, up from Rs 294,700 per tola on Thursday.
Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs 85 per tola, rising from Rs 4,875 per tola on Thursday to Rs 4,960 per tola on Friday.
