KATHMANDU: The increase in interest rate by the banks and financial institutions (BFI) created ripples in Nepal's domestic share market on Monday, the Rastriya Samachar Samiti reported.
NEPSE index, which witnessed a decline last week, saw a further fall by 65.44 points today.
NEPSE index, which opened at 1375.47 points this morning, closed at 1309.7o.
Those to lose most are the investors from insurance group, NEPSE said, adding that the insurance sub-indicator dropped by 837 per cent, followed by hotel sub-indictor that slipped by 7.24 per cent, according to the report.
