The price of gold fell sharply in the domestic market on Wednesday, declining by Rs 2,200 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 307,700 per tola, down from Rs 309,900 per tola on Tuesday.

Similarly, silver prices also dropped, falling by Rs 185 per tola. The white metal is being traded at Rs 5,150 per tola, compared to Rs 5,335 per tola on Tuesday, the federation said.
