KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 23
The price of gold increased by Rs 3,200 per tola on Monday, continuing its recent upward trend in the domestic market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 313,500 per tola on Monday, up from Rs 310,300 per tola on Sunday.
The yellow metal had already surged by Rs 5,600 per tola on Sunday compared to Friday's rate, reflecting sustained momentum in the local bullion market.
Similarly, silver price also recorded a rise. The price of silver increased by Rs 170 per tola on Monday and is being traded at Rs 5,595 per tola, up from Rs 5,425 per tola on Sunday.
