KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 8

Gold price in the domestic market rebounded sharply on Sunday, rising by Rs 9,500 per tola to settle at Rs 300,500 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold increased from Rs 291,000 per tola recorded on Friday.

Silver price also registered a notable gain, climbing by Rs 300 per tola in a single day to reach Rs 5,010 per tola on Sunday. The white metal had been trading at Rs 4,710 per tola on Friday.

The rebound reflects continued volatility in both international and domestic bullion market.
