LAHAN: Property worth around Rs 500,000 turned into ashes when sheds housing cattle of locals caught fire in Kachanari of Siraha district on Thursday. A shed belonging to Man Bir Yadav caught fire in the beginning, which further spread to adjacent sheds belonging to Munilal Yadav, Shiva Kumar Yadav and Ghuran Yadav. All the sheds were totally destroyed in the fire, said the District Police Office. A team of police deployed from the Kachanari Police Post with the help of locals had doused the fire.
