MYAGDI: Property worth around Rs 10 million was destroyed when a fire broke out at the Balmandir Foundation School in Dandakhet of Beni Municipality-14 in the district. In the fire incident that took place on Wednesday night, the two-storey school building was completely destroyed. The school's administrative block, computer lab and library on the first floor were completely destroyed, informed a school teacher Ram Prasad Sharma. Total property damage in the incident has not been calculated, police said. The fire that began at around 5 pm was put off with the joint effort of locals and police after 4 hours. Police said the cause of the inferno is yet to be ascertained.
