BHAKTAPUR: Nepal Workers and Peasants Party Chairman Narayan Man Bijukchhe has said that enlisting new voters before local level elections were not practical and unacceptable. Speaking at a function organised by the Thimi Art Council, in Bhaktapur, Bijukchhe also accused the Madhes based parties of trying to postpone the May 14 elections by forwarding different demands in the Parliament. He further said, increasing the number of local level on the basis of population was not genuine demand as it was raised under the influence of foreign powers. He also argued that the national sovereignty would be in risk if such demands were fulfilled blindly.
