ITAHARI: A non-gazetted officer at the Koshi Zonal Office of Transport Management was caught red-handed while taking a bribe from a service seeker on Monday, CIAA said. A team deployed from the Eastern Regional Office of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority arrested Binod Dahal (Nayab Subba) while taking Rs 8,000 cash as a bribe. It has been learned that Khanal was impending the file clearance of a client for the last three days. CIAA Regional Office Chief Prem Prasad Bhattarai said that they are investigating the case.
