KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the upcoming local level election as a momentous event in the election history in Nepal. Addressing an election gathering organised by the CPN Maoist Centre Shankharapur Town Committee at Sankhu on Wednesday, PM Dahal said the publicity about the local election after 20 years was wrong. He said the elections held in 2054 BS were the elections of local bodies where the rights were confined to Singha Durbar only. He further said the local polls would pave the way towards economic prosperity of the nation.
