Man succumbs to injuries from brutal fight in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: A 21-year-old Anil Ghalan of Phingal-6 Makawanpur, who was fighting for his life in a hospital after suffering injuries in a brawl, died on Wednesday. Ghalan, currently living in Bishnudevi, Chandragiri Municipality-24, was brutally beaten by 16-year-olds Pawan Magar of Dhading and Buddhi Gole of Chapagaun, both of them currently living in the same area, on March 12. Ghalan was undergoing treatment at the Bir Hospital. The culprits were arrested by police on March 15, followed by a release on a bail by Kathmandu District Court on April 9. After the victim's death, police have been looking for the duo who got out on bail.
