Use your brains

Use your brains

By Aaraju Khanal, St.Mary’s School

We have the potential to claim our destiny and earn name and fame. It is only how we take things and react to different situations. We have the power to be successful people. The quality and abilities lie within us. We just need to put in more effort to realise our own potential. When we realise our talents, we can achieve our goal. We need to choose the right path to reach our target.

If we are disciplined, sincere, dutiful, faithful, honest and devoted to our work then the day won’t be far when we will be able to see our dream changing into reality. This statement agrees with the proverb, which says that ‘God gives food to every bird but he doesn’t throw it into its nest’.

According to the Bhagwad Gita, “Duty is God and duty is devotion”. We can take many examples of famous people who have devoted their life performing their duties. We can take example of scientists, who work day and night to discover the unknown and let the world know about their findings, they become popular, earn name and fame and lead a happy life, but the world only sees the prosperous side of their lives and ignores to see their hardworking days.

We all have potential but day-by-day people are becoming more lazy and do not want to work. This is the reason behind people becoming a burden on the earth. How much of our brain do we use? It has been proved that a normal man uses only three per cent of the brain and great people like Sir Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein used only about six per cent of their brains. Then why don’t we use the remaining 97 per cent of our brains?
