KATHMANDU: Social Justice and Human Rights Committee under the Legislature-Parliament has urged the government to formulate necessary law as well as to provide resources  to Truth and Reconciliation Commission and Commission on Investigation of Enforced Disappeared Persons. Issuing a press release on Wednesday, Committee Chairperson Sushil Kumar Shrestha requested the top leaders of political parties and government to make the activities of the two commissions successful by formulating  required laws and providing required resources, including human resource. The press release reads that the commissions have not achieved the expected achievements as the government has  failed to provide sufficient resources to the commissions. Transitional justice management is in a state of dilemma due to lack of necessary laws.
