KATHMANDU: Two persons were held in possession of undeclared 1 kg 400-gram gold from Tilganga of KMC-9 on Sunday, police said. Acting on a tip-off, a special police team deployed from the Metropolitan Crime Division apprehended two suspects Rojina Rai (24) of Jarayotar-2 in Bhojpur district and Deepak Pradhan (33) of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-30. According to police, the suspects had hidden the gold inside a master cylinder of the four-wheeler before being intercepted by the MCD. Meanwhile, police have sent the suspects to the Teku-based Metropolitan Police Range for further investigation and action.
