Kathmandu, January 12:

Chairmen of five fringe parties that support the municipal elections today said they have formed a front to tackle the current political situation in the country.

“We have vowed to form a front with a democratic nationalist thinking as Nepal’s prestige may suffer an unimaginable loss,” said Rajeshwor Devkota, the chairman of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party — Rashtrabadi (RPP-R). The party chiefs were addressing a press conference at the Media Group here.

Devkota is the convener of the coordination committee of the Agragami Prajatantrik Rashtrabadi Morcha. According to him, over 40 fringe parties would join the front.
