Bangladesh posted 305 all out in their first innings and claimed the early wicket of opener Matt Renshaw to complete a satisfying first session on day two of the second and final test against Australia on Tuesday. Australia were 15-1 at lunch with skipper Steve Smith on eight and his deputy David Warner on two with the onus on the two premier batsmen to mount a strong reply as they bid for a series-levelling victory at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim took a spectacular diving catch to dismiss Renshaw for four after the left-hander had tickled a down-the-leg Mustafizur Rahman delivery. Earlier, Nathan Lyon claimed 7-94, his second best figure, as Bangladesh added 52 runs to their overnight score of 253-6 before collapsing. The off-spinner, who had claimed five wickets on Monday, struck with his second delivery of the day dismissing Mushfiqur for 68. Rahim had planted his front foot forward to a ball which took the inside edge and knocked off the bail. Ashton Agar dismissed the other overnight batsman Nasir Hossain for 45 with Matthew Wade, whose place in the playing XI was in doubt going into the test, taking a fine catch. Warner then ran out Mehidy Hasan before Lyon dismissed Taijul Islam to claim his seventh wicket.
