Motorcycle riders fall to death in Tinkune

KATHMANDU: Two persons died after they fell from a motorcycle they were riding on near Tinkune in KMC-32 on Tuesday night. The deceased have been identified as the motorcyclist Raju Tamang (38) of Godavari Municipality-6, currently residing in Imadole, Lalitpur and pillion rider Bishal Lama (28) of Mahabharat Rural Municipality in Kavrepalanchok district, residing in Lubhu-Thali. The motorcycle (Ba 61 Pa 7686) heading towards Gaushala from Koteshwor, skidded and fell heavily on the road, injuring its riders last night. The duo were rushed to the Minbhawan-based Civil Service Hospital where they succumbed to injuries during the course of treatment, according to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division.
