KATHMANDU: The annual general meeting (AGM) of Nepal Clearing House Ltd (NCHL) has approved the proposal of dividend distribution and selection of new board members. The AGM has approved 20 per cent bonus shares and 20 per cent cash dividend. After distribution of bonus shares, the total paid-up capital of the company will be Rs 180 million. The company earned net profit of Rs 131.94 million in the last fiscal. The AGM has selected five board members for the new tenure. As per media release issued by NCHL, Umanga Sharma, representative from Citizens Bank International, Anupama Khunjeli, representative from Mega Bank and Ujjal Rajbhandari, representative from Himalayan Bank, have been appointed as board members from commercial banks group. Pradhyumna Pokhrel, representative from Muktinath Bikas Bank, and Sunil Panta, representative from CFC Finance, have been appointed as board members from development banks and finance companies group.
