Sagoon founder meets NITI CEO

KATHMANDU: NITI Aayog — the national planning body of government of India — has expressed willingness to support social networking site Sagoon.com, which is promoted by a Nepali entrepreneur. Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog, in a meeting with Govinda Giri, founder of Sagoon, said that the government of India will extend support to start-ups like Sagoon, which has recently established an office in India. The Narendra Modi-led government in India has been promoting start-ups under its campaign ‘Start-up India’. Sagoon initially started as a start-up business in the United States of America and recently expanded its office in India.
