ARGHAKHANCHI: A seven-year-old girl, who was taken by a leopard from Kur Benhore of Sandhikharka Municipality, was found dead 13 hours after the incident.

The leopard had taken Pratikshya Nepali, the daughter of Ashok Nepali of Benhore, Sandhikharka Municipality-2 on Monday evening.

The body was found in the jungle at Benhore at around 8:00 am today.

As many as 12 children have fallen victims to leopard attacks in the area in a span of three years.

Arghakhanchi Chief District Officer Khim Raj Bhusal said that the Nepal Army and Nepal Police in the district have been ordered to track down the leopard and kill it.
