JHAPA: A person died on the spot after a bus crashed into a tractor in Kankai Municipality-3 of Jhapa district along the East-West Highway this morning. The deceased has been identified as the tractor driver Nabin Miyan (30) of Jhapa Rural Municipality-4. Miyan died when his tractor (Me 1 Ta 5109) was rammed by the bus (Na 6 Kha 7864) while the former was crossing the road in Surunga today, according to the District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa. Meanwhile, the investigation into the case is underway, said police.
