DHANGADHI, KAILALI: CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bhim Rawal today said the party would not entertain the 'idea' of postponing the elections at the eleventh hour.

He also said there would be a bad impact if the upcoming polls scheduled for November 26 and December 7 were put off by reshuffling the government at a time when the elections are around the corner.

Speaking at a press conference organised in Kailali to decide on poll candidates for Province 7, Rawal suggested the Nepali Congress for forging an electoral alliance with other political parties instead of lambasting the leftist alliance.

Rawal has been unanimously proposed to contest the House of Representatives elections from Kailali Constituency-2 and Achham Constituency-1 from the UML quota.
