NAWALPARASI: A total 15.4 million voters are eligible to vote in the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly scheduled for November 26 and December 7. Of them, the highest number of voters are in province 3 (3.74 million) and the lowest in province 6 (0.8 million), according to the District Election Office in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-susta) west. There are a total of 33 electoral constituencies for the HoR election in the 13 districts of province 3 and 66 constituencies for the provincial assembly election. Likewise, in province 6 with the lowest number of voters among the provinces, there are 12 constituencies for HoR and 24 constituencies for the state assembly election. There are a total of 165 electoral constituencies in 77 districts of Nepal for the HoR election and 330 constituencies for the state assembly election being held for the first time as per the new federal structure adopted in the Constitution of Nepal in October 2015.
