KATHMANDU: Laxmi Bank has inaugurated two new branches in rural municipalities of Myagde-Tanahu and Bhokraha-Sunsari. These new branches are respectively the second and third branches of Laxmi Bank in the districts, as per a press statement. These branches will offer full range of retail banking services customised to meet the needs of individuals and small businesses. With this, Laxmi Bank network now includes 41 districts, 76 branches, three hospital service counters, 98 ATMs and more than 2,500 remittance and over 400 mobile banking agents spread across the country. The bank promotes digital channels such as internet and mobile banking to complement growing number of branches as part of ‘bricks and clicks’ strategy allowing customers to touch it through a channel of their choice: branches, ATM, internet and mobile phones.
