KATHMANDU: The Election Commission of Nepal has proposed dates for the election of the new President and Vice-President of Nepal. The EC has begun talks with five major parties representing in the Federal Parliament in this regard on Thursday. At the meeting, the EC proposed March 5 and March 17 as the dates for election of the President and Vice-President respectively. These dates will be finalised after further discussion among the EC and the five parties.
