KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Thursday arrested a section officer at the Tripureshwor-based Cottage and Small Industries Office with bribe money. According to the CIAA, Indira GautamKhanal had received Rs 9,000 bribe in return for accepting the registration of a garment factory under the name ‘Kathmandu Hidden Treasures’. Before the bribe was offered, Khanal had refused to register the garment factory under an English name.
