POKHARA: Pokhara Metropolitan has banned facebook acting on the complaints regarding service delivery. Mayor Man Bahadur GC issued an order to this effect after employees browsed facebook during office hours leading to inefficient service delivery. According to Information Officer Ashok Dware, employees would not be able to surf through face book during office hours starting from 10:15 am to 4:00 pm. The ban has come into effect from Sunday. Moreover, immediate actions would be taken against those staffers found to be surfing facebook through mobile data packs, the Mayor said.
