Kathmandu, April 10   Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Raghubir Mahaseth today said syndicate in public transport sector was curse to the nation and neither the entrepreneur, nor passengers and the government benefited from it. Addressing an interaction here today, Minister Mahaseth said all kinds of facilities would be provided after the government completely abolished transport syndicate. “The government has taken initiative to end transport syndicate and directed concerned agencies to scrap it,” said Minister Mahaseth. The minister said the Supreme Court had already directed the government to scrap the syndicate system in public transport sector.
