LALITPUR: Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) has scientifically coded 60 types of plants. The coding started from 2012. “One can get information about a plant that is coded from anywhere in the world, through internet,” said Scientist at NAST Ram Chandra Paudel. Until some years ago, the coding could not progress as expected due to various reasons. 'Nowadays, NAST is coding 10 to 15 types of plants a year,' informed Paudel.
