Nepal Army’s Indra Baks Battalion runs free health camp

RAUTAHAT: The Nepal Army on Wednesday organised a cancer screening and general medical camp in Dumriya of Ishanath Municipality, Rautahat in coordination with Bharatpur Cancer Hospital and Clinic Nepal Meghauli. Free health check up of 413 people, including 272 females and 141 males, was carried out in the marginalised community of Dumriya village, Nepal Army’s Indra Baks Battalion said. Out of 272 females, three have been pinpointed as suspected cancer patients, it has been learnt. According to Battalion Chief, Colonel Sujan Shakya, free medicines were distributed to the people and the camp was run by two doctors of cancer hospital and two army medical personnel.
