HETAUDA: A resolution proposal has been registered in the Province Assembly of Province 3 this morning.

Nepali Congress lawmakers Prabhat Tamang, Chhiring Dorje Lama and Nima Lama presented the proposal for resolution citing no significant progress has been made yet in the reconstruction of houses of the earthquake survivors.

The resolution contains proposals for gradually reconstructing government buildings, public buildings, school buildings, monasteries, temples and shrines, and other physical structures.

Similarly, the resolution contains proposal for providing additional grant money as the money allocated for private house reconstruction was inadequate, making available maximum loan of Rs 1.5 million for a period of 15 years free of interest with the provision of repaying the loan on a monthly installment basis.

Likewise, it proposes issuing loans for house reconstruction against citizenship certificate and land-ownership certificate, and only putting the land-ownership certificate on hold, if necessary.
