KATHMANDU: Five women who were attempting to migrate to Kuwait for 'foreign employment' have been sent back from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), today.

According to Foreign Employment Department's information officer, Uddhab Rijal, they were returned due to the mismatch in their visa and labour permit documents. The first readings of their documents made the department employees realise that they needed to be rescued once they reach their destinations.

'Baibhav' Manpower Company had processed their visa and labour permit papers and as per their visas, they were going to work as 'receptionists' while their labour permit mentioned 'cleaners'. They were returned at 8:30 am from the airport today.
