ADBL put in ‘class A’

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has recognised Agriculture Development Bank Ltd (ADBL) as class A financial institution. This is the first ever bank to receive the license of class A under the Bank and Financial Institutions Ordinance-2062. The bank was registered as a public company at the company registrar office last July. Its recent excellent track record has fetched the institution this prestigious categorisation. — RSS

Surkhet gets Rs 9.36m

SURKHET: The District Land Revenue Office, Surkhet has collected a revenue worth Rs 9.36 million in the first eight months of the current fiscal year. The office collected revenue for different services it provided, including fees for registration of lands. The collected revenue is Rs 5.4 million more, compared to the revenue collected in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal year. — RSS
