KATHMANDU: Police have arrested Netra Bikram Chand led-Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur BK (Prakanda), today. According to police, an investigation is being carried out under complaints against him of plotting acts of violence and extortion during the local and provincial elections held last year. BK had represented the erstwhile CPN (Maoist) in ministerial berth as a Woman, Children and Social Welfare Minister before the party was divided.
