KATHMANDU: The KP Sharma Oli government has removed Kamini Rajbhandari from the post of Managing Director at the Nepal Telecom. A cabinet meeting held today took the decision. Rajbhandari's failure to produce 'convincing' response to the clarification sought by the government over NTC's performance and progress has been cited as the reason for her removal. Rajbhandari, the telecom's first ever female head, was appointed as the MD on September 2016 by Pushpa Kamal Dahal led coalition government.
