MYAGDI: A suspension bridge over Thulo Khola of Dhawalagiri Rural Municipality-6 of Myagdi was swept away by a flood on Monday night.

According to the rural municipality ward chair, Rajaram Subedi, the flood in Thulo Khola has also eroded a large area of land of the locality along with the wooden bridge constructed over the river along the way to Malkwang, Bhedikhalda, Aarbang, Ghantibang, Rikh.

The floods have crippled normal life in the village. The locals at the areas are cut off from travelling as they cannot cross the river. Students at Marang based Jana Bikas Secondary School are unable to go to school due to this.
