CHITWAN: With the off set of monsoon, Chitwan National Park (CNP) has resumed jeep safaris closed earlier as a precautionary measure when rains were in full swing. The park stops the jeep tours temporarily each year as heavy rain and flash floods ravage roadways and bridges and water level in the rivulets flowing through the park rises. Jeep safari service resumed on October 11 after roads and bridges were repaired, according to CNP Assistant Conservation Officer Nurendra Aryal.
