BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi has said that the incumbent government should take its two-thirds majority status seriously.

Talking to mediapersons at Biratnagar Airport today, the main opposition party leader advised the government to work to respect and maintain people's favour.

Informing the media about party's internal affairs, he said preparations were going on to hold the Mahasamiti meeting as per the party statute.

The same meeting will determine the party's future political strategy through an amendment to the statute, Nidhi said. He also claimed that the party was free from any sorts of factionalism.
