KATHMANDU: Chhath Parva, the festival which is symbolic of purity, good will and faith, is being celebrated across the country with much fanfare and enthusiasm. During the festival, devotees worship and offer arghya (offering of water) to the setting and rising sun, wishing prosperity, happiness, well-being and long life of family members. The Hindu festival dedicated to the Sun God is observed for four days.
