BETRAWATI: Chaughada Agro Organic Pvt Ltd has began agro farming at Lekhu Municipality-4 in Nuwakot district.

It is so far the biggest organic agro farm in the district.

Inaugurating the organic farm, Chief of District Coordination Committee, Santaman Tamang said, the Chaughada farm has given out a new message to make agriculture dignified.

He also expressed his confidence that the business would attract other farmers to initiate agro-based entrepreneurship in the country.

According to company chairperson Anju Saha, they have started agro farming on 250 ropani of land at an investment of Rs 13 million. More than 15 people are directly employed in the firm.

Meanwhile, construction of sheds is being carried out to shelter 100 cows.
